Bonus Photo of Terry by Gene!

Speaking of meeting friends through these blogs, I met and have become great friends with three people from Baltimore collectively known as the BBC (Baltimore Bar Crawlers). Indivdually they are are Gene, Smoopy and Terry. Recently on one of their bar crawls (they usually travel to about 590 bars in one night and have over 26,000 drinks between the three of them), Gene snapped this photo of Terry sporting the legendary 365 bars t-shirt that “Boris” designed. Here’s what Gene sent along with the photo:

Before we went to my sister's, we had drinks at the infamous, Jerry's Bar in my parents basement.

Judging from the look on my sister's face, I thought I better put the camera away before I got thrown out of the joint! From left, my parents, my brother-in-law Phil, my brother Tom, my nephew Greg and my sister Terry who did a great job of cooking a fantastic Thanksgiving dinner! I hope you all had a great hollerday!

Ragin' RR used to be a frequent commenter at all three of my blogs, but computer problems have silenced him. We do keep in touch via email and he recently sent me this photo of an old Circus magazine cover. I used to read Circus, but don't remember this one. Okay, this isn’t going to be much at all, I have to work during the day today and I’m running late. I don’t blog about work, but my new job is a second shift job, but I have to train at a different building today and I have to be there at 11:30 AM. And I’m kind of bleary-eyed. Any of you that have followed my blogs know I’m not a morning person, so I’m just going to post a Cardboard Box Man Mutation that DJ Gidget sent in via her friend, Katie Lane who sent this sighting to Gidget from the Natural History Museum In Washington, DC. Thanks to Gidget and to Katie, without them I’d have nothing this week.

Aaaahhhhhh!

Oh and speaking of nothing, the new blog will be delayed one week due to technical difficulties (I have to work the dreaded day shift the week of December 3rd), so the new debut of the blog will be December 10th. Mark your Lindsay’s and calendars, have a wonderful week and thank you for the Aintree Iron!

Here's my entertainment center, Patty Smyth is now playing. Note the Sham Wow dolls below, created by my friend, Ash. They're very happy to be in Peoria.

This is my desk and writing area. I'm currently writing a story about leaving New York that will be up on the first post of my new blog that's going to debut December 3rd.

And here's my new favorite thing in the world, the ice machine in my building.

I don't know why this thing makes me happier than anything, but it does and that's a good thing.

They have an ice machine here on the ground floor. It makes me feel like I'm living in a hotel!

This is the back area of my new pad, my bed is behind the futon which has been imported from my New York apartment.

Here's the front area of the place, there's boxes and shit everywhere, I'm hoping to have it all put together in a week or two.

Many stacks of books and I still have about ten boxes to unpack.

More leaning towers of books. I think I'm going to have to invest in a couple of cheap-ass bookcases to put all these in.

Here's the kitchen area and yes, Virginia, there is an actual stove! I'm anxious to start cooking some creations on that. And of course I need to fill the refrigerator up with regular (Budweiser.)

This is the bathroom area and more boxes of books to unload. Although I do have to admit, it's easier unpacking than packing.
